If you can't find your review on the company's page, the first step is to check its status.
Check the status
- Go to My profile.
- Find the review under My reviews. You can filter by Public, Being checked and Held back.
- Look at the label on the review.
What does the status mean?
- Public: Everyone can see it on the company's profile. Choose See on the profile to go straight to it.
- Being checked: We check it automatically. It usually takes a few minutes.
- Held back: It breaks one of our rules. You can edit it or appeal the decision.
- Removed: It has been removed because it breaks the guidelines. You can appeal the decision.
Held back or removed
If we hold back or remove a review, you get an email and a notification with the reason and the rule we believe has been broken. Under My profile you can see the decision, the case number and the appeal deadline next to the review.
- Choose Edit and resubmit if you can fix what the decision is about, e.g. remove a name. Then we check the review again.
- Choose Appeal the decision if you believe the review doesn't break the rules.
